Ash Street,
composed.
An interior photographed with Julius Shulman in mind: calm horizons, long sightlines and rooms that invite you to imagine yourself inside them.

Composed like a film still
Shulman made houses feel lived in without showing much of anyone. That was the idea at Ash Street: level horizons, long views from room to room, and just enough life in the frame to suggest a story.
How we photographed it
We worked slowly, one composition at a time, styling only what each room asked for. Vintage hardware, warm wood and soft textiles were given space to speak, and the light was kept natural and directional.
What it gives the designer
Editorial images suited to design publications, a designer’s portfolio or a listing that wants to stand apart from the feed.
