Before we arrive

How to prepare for your photoshoot

Twenty minutes of prep shows up in every frame. Forward this to your sellers the day you book.

Email this checklist

Inside

  • Turn on every light and replace any dead bulbs
  • Open blinds and curtains
  • Clear kitchen counters, sinks and bathroom vanities
  • Tuck away personal photos, toiletries, pet bowls and toys
  • Make beds and straighten towels and rugs
  • Hide cords, remotes and small appliances

Outside

  • Move cars off the driveway and away from the curb
  • Put trash bins and hoses out of sight
  • Mow, sweep the walks and clear the porch
  • Turn sprinklers off the day before so paths are dry
  • Close garage doors

Day of the shoot

  • Turn off ceiling fans and TVs
  • Lockbox or entry code ready, no need to be home
  • Pets secured or out for a walk
  • Tell us the one detail buyers should notice
