5 projects · Winter to summer

In the mountains, the season is part of the brief. Winter brings snow on the timber and warm windows at dusk; summer brings aspen green and long evenings. A lodge or rental often needs both.

Our mountain work ranges from boutique lodges in Vail Village and a treatment lodge above Edwards to ski condos in Steamboat and an 1898 miners’ hospital, now a hotel, in Cripple Creek.

How we photograph the mountains

Tall windows and bright snow make mountain interiors hard to balance, so we work exposure carefully to hold both the view and the room. For lodges with timber ceilings and arches, a tilt-shift lens keeps every line true.

We schedule around weather and light, and often return in a second season so a property can market itself year round.

Who we work with here

We photograph for lodges, hotels, short-term rental owners and listing agents across the high country. Read our case studies on Tivoli Lodge and All Points North Lodge.
