Rocky Mountain
Mind and Body.
An integrative psychiatry clinic in Englewood whose rooms are deliberately warm and unclinical, photographed slowly so that feeling comes through.

The brief
Rocky Mountain Mind and Body believes mental health care should feel personal. The clinic shows it in deep colors, soft seating, art and natural light, in rooms designed for people who may spend a long, vulnerable stretch of time in them. The photographs had to make a nervous first-time patient feel that before they ever arrive.
How we photographed it
We moved through the waiting area, treatment lounges, group room and relaxation room with gentle, low-contrast light, holding the warm tones the designers chose. Close frames of textiles, lamps and art carry the comfort details that a wide shot can miss.
What it gives the clinic
A set of images that lets the space speak for the practice: on the website, in directories and anywhere a patient is deciding where to begin.
