Renovated home on Grape Ave in North Boulder at sunset

1720 Grape Ave, Growing Gardens North Boulder: Real Estate Photography for Lorri Orihuela

1720 Grape Ave sits on a tree-lined street in North Boulder’s Growing Gardens neighborhood, a few blocks from the community farm the area is named for. Built in 1979 and thoughtfully renovated, the home has four bedrooms, four baths and about 3,100 square feet, with a new two-tone exterior that photographs beautifully at dusk.

A renovation with room to breathe

Open living room with vaulted ceiling and clerestory windows

Inside, the renovation opened everything up. Vaulted ceilings with clerestory windows wash the living room in light, hardwood runs throughout, and the kitchen centers on a large quartz island with warm wood cabinetry below. Bright, airy spaces like this need restraint in post. I kept the whites clean and let the cognac leather and wood tones bring the warmth.

Evenings outside

The back patio, lit at dusk, tells you how summer evenings here will go. In Boulder, outdoor rooms sell as hard as indoor ones.

Why Growing Gardens

The neighborhood is part of the value. Parks, trails and downtown are close, and the Flatirons are the backdrop to almost everything. We finished with aerials of the street and the farm with the mountains beyond.
