5191 Lions Paw St, Castle Rock: Luxury Real Estate Photography of a Workshop Denver Home
5191 Lions Paw Street sits high on open land in Castle Rock, a modern home built by Workshop Denver with long views west to the Front Range. Four bedrooms, six baths and 6,464 square feet. Dark cladding, warm wood and stacked terraces step down the slope, and at twilight the whole house glows like a lantern set on the hill.
The quiet walk
I always start a home like this with a quiet walk, a 50mm in hand, letting the house tell me where to look. Here it was the edges: oak stair treads floating off a steel rail, brass pulls set into rift oak, a window placed exactly where the bath could hold the sky. Those are the decisions a builder makes on purpose, and they deserve their own frames.

Dancing with the sun
A house on a ridge is really a study in light. In the afternoon the sun slides west across the terraces and pulls long shadows over the lawn. I photographed the interiors while that light was soft and even, then moved outside as the sky began to warm, so every room was made in the hour that suits it.

Inside, the great room, kitchen and dining room open to each other beneath walls of glass. Workshop Denver framed the landscape with the windows, so the job was to keep the lines straight and let the view do the rest. Tilt-shift lenses hold every vertical true, and each frame was edited by hand for color and quiet detail.

Twilight on the hill
Twilight is the moment I plan the whole day around. The windows come up warm, the cladding turns deep and soft, and the terraces read as stacked rooms floating over the yard. I worked the front and the entry court first, then the rear elevation as the sky went from gold to rose.

The film
Photographs hold a moment. Film lets you walk through it. The cinematic tour follows the same light as the stills, from the long afternoon across the great room to the terraces at dusk.
From above
Then the drone went up. From the air you understand why someone would build here: the home sits in its setting with the foothills rolling away behind it and the mountains catching the last light. As an FAA Part 107 licensed pilot, I fly these frames myself so the aerials carry the same eye as everything on the ground.

Why one author matters on a home like this
A modern home lives or dies on its details and its light. Every frame of this listing was planned, made and edited by the same person, so the story stays consistent from the first photograph to the last. That is what I mean by authorship, and it is the heart of our luxury real estate photography in Denver and across Colorado.
