950 8th St, Downtown Golden: Townhome Photography for Jason Putnik
950 8th St is an end-unit townhome a few blocks from Washington Avenue in historic downtown Golden, built in 2015 with views on three sides. It has since sold, and it remains one of the clearest examples I have of how much setting can do for a listing.
Mesas on every side

Golden is framed by landforms. North and South Table Mountain, Lookout Mountain and the foothills wrap the town, and this home looks at all of them. We flew the drone at sunset to show the townhome in that ring of mesas, then came down to the rooftop deck for the light on the ridges.

Stone, wood and a quiet palette

Inside, a stone fireplace with built-ins anchors the living room, engineered hardwood runs throughout, and the kitchen pairs granite counters with high-end wood cabinetry and good pendant light. The finishes are calm, which makes the views the color in every room.

Downtown Golden buyers want the walk to Clear Creek, the coffee shops and the trailheads as much as the house. The last frame, the mesa rising over the rooftops, says that in one look.
