East Denver, brick and canopy

Ongoing

Listing and architectural photography. Digital photographs, twilight and aerial.

Hilltop, Crestmoor, Cherry Creek, Belcaro, Washington Park and southeast Denver, Colorado.

13 homes · A century of houses

East Denver holds some of the city’s most carefully kept houses: 1930s brick Colonials and Tudors in Hilltop, a 1939 Musick Tudor in Old Crestmoor, Denver Squares near Washington Park and post-war homes along the parkways, all under a canopy of mature trees.

Mixed in are new custom residences built to fit their older neighbors. Photographing this part of the city is about honoring original details, leaded glass, ironwork and plaster, while showing how the house lives today.

How we photograph east Denver

Older homes reward patience. We light rooms so original woodwork and plaster keep their true color, and we frame windows to show the gardens and trees that make these blocks feel established.

For new construction near Cherry Creek and in southeast Denver, twilight exteriors and clean, level interiors carry the modern lines without losing warmth.

Who we work with here

Many of these listings come from agents who specialize in east Denver’s historic homes and return to us listing after listing. We also photograph for builders and architects working on new homes in the same neighborhoods.
